Ho Qingyuan Solo Exhibition ——The Lost World
Date:2018.03.26——2018.03.27
Location:Hong Kong Cultural Centre ,10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong
The works exhibited in this exhibition are mainly created by me from the beginning of 2011. From the earliest "landscape series"to the later "The Peach Garden" , "Come away home".The beginning is due to my love of mountains and rivers and my memory of the spirit of the ancients. However, in the current social context, the ancient cultural environment and landscape environment has been disappeared. The idea of returning to the secluded mountains of the park is only in the dream. Most people can only survive in urban forests that rely on reinforced concrete. The ancient people's lofty realm of unity between man and nature can only be realized through classics and self-cultivation. It is difficult for anyone to get rid of relations with the current society and live a kind of life that “I do not know Han, regardless of Wei Jin”.
How can we maintain the peace in our hearts and defend our last pure land in the troubled society? I think this will test the quality of our various aspects. Painting is my way. This is the love and desire for beauty in my heart. It is the landscape of my heart. Here you may have found a lost world. The long-lost beauty and tranquility, but did you also see the sadness behind this bustling?
